Hartington Upper Quarter is a large Parish measuring over 18 square miles and with a boundary (shown in red below) almost 45 miles long – or, in metric, approximately 46 square km and 72 km.
The Parish Council serves Axe Edge, Brandside, Brierlow Bar, Goyt Valley, Hindlow, Sterndale Moor and Ladmanlow.
