Brandside Hall – Educational & Community Facilities
Hartington Upper Quarter Parish Council holds Brandside Parish Hall as an asset for the use of the whole Parish and all persons with an interest in our area. It is the stated intention of the Parish Council to make the most of this wonderful old building for its original intended purpose..the education and benefit of young people.
The Hall is used regularly by groups of youngsters on the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. Also by Cadets and Scout groups. Radio clubs use the Hall because its altitude gives excellent reception and transmission for international communications.
Recently the Hall has been used for more formal education and we hope that this will continue and increase in the future.
